Casper the friendly ghost: part 2
Casper and the little boy
The other day a little boy sat in the garden
and I happened to be floating by
and saw that he was all alone;
he looked gloomy and sad
cos he had no one to play with.
So I blew like a gentle wind
and made the flowers wave at him;
and he ran to catch the flowers that waved
but I moved swiftly to another group of smiling flowers
and I made them wave their little hands and feet:
and the boy ran around the garden
merrily, merrily like a bird;
and he laughed and he smiled
merrily, merrily like a bird -
and he embraced the flowers

Casper and the dying woman
She was a beautiful woman
about ninety-three she was;
she lived alone
and it was her dying days;
she could not move
and no one would visit her till a month from then
and she lay in bed, and hot tears rolled down her cheeks
and I sat beside her on her bed, and I smiled…
And the lonley woman, she looked at me and now she smiled too
and she said:
Darling child…are you my angel?
And I smiled and never uttered a sound
as I listened to her every word;
and she told me all about her life and her joys and pain
and her tears stopped and she laughed
and she told me about her long life and her husband and her children
and her tears stopped and she laughed
and she smiled, and again she said:
Darling child…are you my angel?
And she died with a divine smile…
And now she is in God’s own Heaven
and she sings the most beautiful songs about her life
and the angels sit round her
listening to her, and shedding tears of joy…
