And the tree grew , 
 the leaves rustled a song 
born by the wind , borne by the wind
one for each wanderer 
 as they  came and sat and rested 
listened of tales of sun moon and stars
got wiser and  went along 
the mighty tree looked on
the leaves rustled their sane  song

Dear Raj,
        
  But then the trees were free,

  No body knocks them at their knee,

  If you and I were he,

  And endowed with no gray

  Will we not  bray with all gay,

  That the sun and moon and the stars,

  All in my territory, won in wars of victory,

  Thou shall be my  slave for ever in history,

  Which no man will ever say is   a   mystery..................

Your suggestion to cherish the sun, moon, earth, etc needs to be taken seriously today.  How exploitative have we become!

  Who has time to stand and stare? ... we are all obsessed with food, clothing and shelter and the endless rat race ...
